Switching to Eden was truly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made for our son and our family. Initially, we were hesitant about having support staff come into our home—we were concerned about losing our privacy and having unfamiliar people in our space. But the transition was smoother than we ever expected, and those concerns quickly faded. Since joining Eden, we've seen incredible growth in our son, EJ. Where previous providers struggled to support him in accessing the community due to behavioural challenges, Eden embraced the opportunity and provided the consistent, thoughtful support he needed. As a result, EJ has found a real love for being outdoors—especially bushwalking and spending time in nature—something we may never have discovered without him feeling safe, supported, and challenged in the right way. All of the staff—from the support workers right up to the management team—have been absolutely marvellous. They are approachable, solution-focused, and always willing to go the extra mile. Their "can-do" attitude and the way they treat us like family has made all the difference in building trust and making this journey a positive one. The impact on our whole family has been just as significant. For the first time in 23 years, we were able to go on a holiday together and enjoy quality time with our youngest son—without one of us having to stay behind to care for EJ. Knowing he was in safe, capable hands gave us true peace of mind. Eden has brought not just support, but genuine change and hope to our lives, and we’re so grateful for what they’ve done for EJ and for all of us.".
