EDEN VACANTION CARE

School holidays filled with possibilities

Inclusive school-holiday support where children and young people aged 5–18 can explore their interests, try new experiences, build confidence and create wonderful memories.

More than something to do in the holidays

School holidays should be filled with opportunities to have fun, connect with others and discover something new.

Eden Vacation Care provides welcoming, all-abilities school-holiday experiences shaped around the interests, choices and individual support needs of each child and young person.

Some children love busy group activities and community adventures. Others prefer smaller groups, familiar routines, sensory-friendly experiences or time to participate at their own pace.

At Eden, there is no expectation that every child will enjoy or experience the day in the same way. We take the time to understand what helps each young person feel safe, comfortable and included.

Support begins with listening

Initial conversation

We start with a friendly conversation about your child, their interests and the support you are looking for.

Getting to know them

We learn about their communication, routines, support needs, preferences, risks and what helps them feel comfortable.

Planning their support

Together, we identify suitable activities, staffing arrangements and the support required for safe and meaningful participation.

Joining Eden

Where possible, we help your child become familiar with our team and program before their first booked holiday experience.

Understanding funding

Standard vacation-care, outside-school-hours care and school-holiday program fees are not funded by the NDIS.

In some circumstances, a child may have funding for additional disability-related assistance that supports their participation. Any support claimed from an NDIS plan must:

  • Be an eligible NDIS support

  • Relate to the child’s disability

  • Be consistent with their individual plan

  • Meet the applicable NDIS funding requirements

Families should confirm funding suitability with their plan manager, support coordinator or NDIS contact before using NDIS funding.

Activity admission, food, spending money and other ordinary participation costs may need to be paid separately by the family.
